A lot has happened since the last post. I do that with blogs.
At 4 am on the 21st of July, Patrick "Fish" Luther, Andrew Sweeney, and JBone (videographer) showed up at my door in Vegas, picking me up for 19 days in Squamish, British Columbia. (here is a view of the Chief, the base of which was where we camped. this photo was taken with my phone from the public library in town.)
The bouldering was AMAZING. The setting was gorgeous as well. check out these photos of Fish and Andrew.
So I did some cool and beautiful problems in Squamish, we met and climbed with some amazing people who will likely remain lifelong friends. Then on the 9th of August it was time to head back to the states. Patrick was scheduled to compete in the Send Fest pro climbing comp in Salt Lake during the Outdoor Retailer tradeshow. I was there with Evolv and so we kicked it in SLC for 4 days. On that Sunday I got a ride with my buddy Daniel to Maple Canyon, about two hours south of SLC. I climbed there for two days and hitched a ride with my close friends Jaret and Crist back to Vegas.
WHAT A MONTH THAT WAS!
I now am getting ready to head back to NYC. I fly out late thursday night, technically 1am on friday. I am moving from one apartment to another and the first couple of days are not gonna be too casual.
Oh, and if you read the last couple entries and were wondering what happened with that climb, I sent "Wailing Souls" today, not before Squamish.

Went to LA for the 15th to the 24th. Here is one of the pieces from Shawny D's show opening at the South La Brea Gallery.
Here is a giant freakin dandelione that was at the base of the cliff one day up at Mt Charleston this week. look at it in comparison to that caribiner!
sushi? definitely not kosher.
climbers are SO 'core. Jenn goes for the shrimp head send.

I fly back to Vegas on the 15th. on the 17th I'll be driving Dave to Flagstaff to get his new car and I'll stay in Flag to climb for a couple of days. I still haven't found out for sure whether or not I'm TAing at Idyllwild this summer, but I'd like to. Can't wait to be home and climbing again.
Here is a painting from the beginning of the semester and 4 etchings that I recently finished. I particularly like the first three etchings.
