The lithograph self-portraits I started last spring semester (which were temporarily put on hold after the accident) are now finally finished. Here they are in different states (sorry, state 3 not printed in black):

state 1:

state 2:

state 4:

Here are two prints that I printed in three states and pulled out of the edition before printing state 4:

Here is the rest of the edition. I must explain that it's not technically an edition as each print is different in color combinations. Most of these printed in 4 states, but a few of them (3, 4, and 8) skipped state three. Hope you enjoy.

Hello friends and family ... and any curious wonderers of the intarwebs. My last blog post was on March 8th, 2007. A LOT has happened since then, and it's really no wonder that this page has gone so so long without so much as the slightest update. On the 11th of March I was in a pretty serious climbing accident. If you're reading this, you probably already know that. The past six months have been full of pain, joy, good times, bad times, and everything in between. I left school for a medical leave, and as such lost all of last semester. I'm now back in Brooklyn and working hard again, mostly just painting, working on lithographs, and ... well, that's pretty much it.

Here are some figure drawings from last fall (2006).

Greetings art fans!
Heh, always wanted to say that. So I decided that I was going to save money this spring break and fly home (vegas and LA) rather than utah. I need to recharge my batteries and I can't think of any better way to do that than seeing family and friends. I have been working tiressly lately, prepairing two canvasses for painting, printing lithographs,a nd starting a new painting. Here is a pic of the original drawing for it in my sketchbook, followed by another self-portrait from the same book, from last week. Enjoy. Or don't.

The semester is going well. I'm working a lot lately.. like a lot a lot, in both painting and lithography. That's really all there is to update. Too bad I haven't been climbing much, but as Pop would say, I'm prioritizing.. or to quote directly "sacrificing everything for [my] art." Here is a quick picture of what my studio (nook upstairs by my room) looks like.

Hueco was absolutely amazing. Here are the photos.
